Papers of the college presidents : Edward Austin Sheldon. 1819-1897.

The papers date from 1819 through 1897, the bulk of which fall into the period from 1860 to 1897. The largest components are Sheldon's autobiography (edited by Mary Sheldon Barnes) and correspondence, which consists almost exclusively of incoming letters from 1854 to 1897.
